About The Voice Artist

As a voiceover artist, Michael has worked for top clients including JCDecaux, Woolworths, Spotify, and the Queensland Museum among many others for over 10 years. Michael graduated with distinction from the Acting program at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in 2009 and completed his Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning in 2016. Michael completed voiceover training with Jason Myatt at USQ in 2009 and has worked consistently since. Michael has worked extensively as a theatre-in-education performer and practitioner, having been employed by various companies and institutions. Highlights include Shake & Stir theatre company, Queensland Museum & Sciencentre and Ozplays Australia. As an actor, Michael has been directed by QLD Theatre National Artistic Team Member Kat Henry and NIDA graduate and director Andrea Moor, among others. As a musician he has composed for Shakespearean productions (notably USQ’s As You Like It) and released his own adult contemporary album in 2014. In 2019, Michael co-wrote Adventure with Paradise the Parrot, a solo children’s show which he performed for the 2019 QLD Emerge Arts Festival in QLD, Australia. Michael is a QCT fully qualified teacher and has taught at primary, secondary and tertiary levels since 2011. Select classes have included story-telling, Brecht, Shakespeare, improvisation, Stanislavski, voice, Drama and general acting skills.
