I have been involved in theater as an amateur since 1998. I have done voice-over work for several theater productions. For the past four years, I have been working in news, educational and promotional films, as well as protocol presentations and live broadcast hosting for a public institution's internet broadcasting platform. In January 2020, I completed diction and announcing courses at Başkent İletişim Akademisi and received my professional certificates. Beyond more formal content such as news and educational materials, I also have substantial experience with poetry and literary texts, as well as advertising and promotional content.

(There is a 7-hour difference with TR) During my high school and university years in Turkey, I gained amateur and professional experience in theater and radio. Later, I came to the United States for my PhD in film studies. Here, I did voice-over work for 2 years on a documentary television program called Yeni Ufuklar, produced in New York City for TRT. During my visits to Turkey, I continued my work in telemarketing voice-overs and back vocals on professional albums (such as The Freelicks/Exit Plan). In addition to translating all episode scripts from English to Turkish for the Turkish channel of Baby Alive Youtube Channel and serving as dubbing director for the episodes, I was selected to provide the voice for children's songs on the same channel (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2jiqb0t2-tZ4TXbwrA4CMjoSzZ8qoF13). Recently, I provided English voice-over work for the animated film Istanbul Protocol, a Scandinavian production, and most recently Turkish voice-over work for Coca-Cola Turkey's Meal Test themed film. I continue my voice-over, dubbing, and music work in both Turkish and North American English.

My name is Jonathan, a trained British Voice Actor with nearly eight years of coaching and six years of professional experience in Voiceover, ranging from Corporate Clients such as Broen Labs and Xplor to AAA and Indie Game Developers like Playside Studios and Inti Creates. I also have training and experience in both Live Action and Animation ADR, particularly with rythmo band. I say almost as, strangely enough, my native accent has somehow been confused for Scottish, London, Welsh and one time even Spanish. Your guess is as good as mine. I developed and expanded my professional foundations in both acting and Voice Acting at the City Academy in London and later, The Showreel in Soho in the heart of London. Complementing this was both a six month training in Radio Broadcasting/Audio Editing at Point Blank Music School and a six month course in professional Audio Production at the London Academy of Music Production (London Lamp) in the years 2016-2017. In the years since, I have attended several intensive workshops, Voiceover conferences and have been coached by top professionals in the Voiceover and Audio industries. In 2022 I attended Voiceover Atlanta in the US, connecting with and learning from some of the highest coaches and industry figures.
