I've been doing radio programming, VOICE OVER work, and production since 1998. Carel has been an award-winning storyteller and professional voice-actor for 35 years. He specialises in character voices and has featured prominently in popular video games. While he prefers adding his own unique flavour to a character, he can emulate the likes of Richard Burton, Stephen Fry, David Attenborough, wizards like Gandalf or Albus Dumbledore, if that's what you're after as a client. He's recorded national broadcast television commercials for BMW, Jaguar, Mini, Porsche, Diners Club, Azamara Club Cruises, Investec, Barclaycard, Arrive Alive, Cadbury's, First National Bank, Rothmans as well as Benson & Hedges cigarettes, South African Airways, SABRIC, AdaptIT, and countless other local and international brands. He's a qualified audio engineer, an accomplished editor, and has a professional home studio recording environment.

My voice-over career spans over 5 years. I have recorded numerous social media ads, several TVCs, documentaries, narrations, explainers, and above all, an extensive volume of eLearning content. Understanding the client's requirements from the outset is my strong suit. In addition to English, I also provide voice-overs in Urdu. I won't make grand claims, but my work will demonstrate that I'm worth hiring.

I have over 30 years of voice over and voice acting experience, and a professional studio with excellent equipment that allows me to turn around projects with excellent speed and quality.

For 6 years, I hosted weekly music programs for 12-15 hours at Anadolu Üniversitesi Radyosu Radyo A, presented news broadcasts, and conducted interviews with leading figures in their fields. I have narrated 2 children's books for Milli Kütüphane Konuşan Kitaplık (National Library Audiobook Collection). I won 2nd place in the RATEM (Radio and Television Broadcasters Association) "Aklıma Bir Fikir Geldi" inter-university anti-piracy communication ideas competition with a radio jingle I created and voiced. I successfully passed the audition to participate in a 1-year training program organized by Eskişehir Büyükşehir Belediyesi Şehir Tiyatroları (Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters). I received training from professional theater actors in stage performance, improvisation, theater history, diction and effective speech, and movement. I have also received training in effective speech, diction, and production. I have been working continuously in voice over since 2012.

I worked in radio for over 12 years. Currently, commercial voice-over has been my passion. Corporate, conversational, retail, character voices, IVR, and audiobooks are some of the styles I can perform. I love experiencing each project and trying to understand what each client expects from their work. Speed, professionalism, and fair pricing are the three pillars of my service. I am a graduate of TED Ankara Koleji and Bilkent Üniversitesi. I began my radio career in 2010 and hosted the morning show at Radyo ODTÜ for many years. In addition, I work as a host for congresses, conferences, and meetings. I record voiceovers in my home studio for animated series, commercials, and IVR systems. As a media enthusiast, I have spent 10+ years in various media and communication channels. I have produced 6 podcasts with almost 80+ episodes (and still counting), collaborating with start-ups, law firms, agencies, and NGOs on technology, AI, digital transformation, ecosystem building, digital marketing, social impact, communication & lifestyle. Most recently, I am taking role of a dubbing actress in cartoons, House of Surprises and Rainbow High, streamed by Netflix.
