"A vocal chameleon" is what a lot of people have described him as. He began his career in New Zealand in 2002 when he became breakfast anchor at the age of 19. Because of his multifaceted voice he worked for a number of radio stations within the now NZME and Mediaworks. During this time he honed his craft and voiced numerous commercials, teasers and stings while fronting some big ticket festivals. He gained knowledge in sound design and audio editing during his radio years enabling him to not just voice but produce and edit a wide range of high quality projects. Wanting to explore not just sound but visuals he completed his Bachelor in Broadcasting Communication in 2008. He worked as a sound assistant at CTV (a local Television station) and later as a production hand in various areas including camera, editing, presenting and voice overs, becoming CTV's station voice till his OE in 2010. Having a natural knack for audio, editing and voice and further honing his craft he started working on more personal projects including online training video's for Pulse Telecom as well as orientation and promotional video's for Annies Fruit Leather (now Kono) and the NMDHB (Nelson/Marlborough District Health Board) . His talent was snapped up by USA's Blue Sky production as the character voice of Nigel (the white Cockatoo and main antagonist) for the online video game, Rio Match 3 in 2015. He has lent his voice to numerous projects (in his native German language and English) national and international, continuing his passion with great skill and enthusiasm. His dynamic well rounded voice is ideal for almost any project, large or small. He embraces every challenge that is thrown at him. I am a professional music composer (Academia de Música Fermatta), acoustic consultant, producer, voice over artist certified by IMER (Instituto Mexicano de la Radio), and radio host (graduate of CCRC). In 2000, I won first place in the international music composition contest "Jolgorio en Querétaro" and since then I have specialized in sound art and design, focusing my expertise on the genres of Radio Drama, Radio Comic, and Sound Art. In parallel, I continuously train through various courses in vocalization, production, and music. As a radio producer, sound designer, music composer, and creative, I have been in charge of projects for Grupo Radiorama, Scribe, Cámara del Papel, UNAM, INAH, IMER, CONACyT, Cartoon Network, among others. I composed the soundtrack and produced various videos for the HAWC observatory at UNAM, as well as visual and musical works for events such as "La noche de las estrellas" at UNAM from 2016 to the present, and the short film "Sin Hilos no hay Tejido" for INAH. I have developed audio design for various Radio Series, experimenting with radio-comic script formats in relation to sound art and the creation of a distinctive musical signature for these projects. I had the fortune of collaborating with "Mannyático", one of the first radio comics in Latin America, which was funded by CONACyT. I have collaborated as Producer for 8 years at "Absenta Radio", a web station that has become a platform for various projects on national stations, such as: "Sexo en tu Idioma", which aired for 3 years on Instituto Mexicano de la Radio, where I participated as co-producer, co-host, scriptwriter, and creative for the program, and "Codex", a program about science and technology that aired on Reactor 105.7 FM, where I collaborated as co-producer, co-host, scriptwriter, and content creator, and which currently airs every Friday on IMER's "Ciudadana 660 AM" frequency. I am also the voice of various video channels on platforms like Youtube and Facebook for different companies, applications, independent projects, and emerging channels. I have a professional recording studio, ideal for recording your projects and giving your brand or idea a unique sonic personality.

Özgür Varul was born in 1981. He graduated from Mersin University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Theater Department in 2003. He has been actively working in voice acting since 2007. He has participated in numerous projects including films, series, documentaries, games, animations, commercials, promotional videos, and audiobook narrations.
