Hello, I'm Can Fırtına. I'm a graduate of Turkish Language and Literature. I'm a magazine editor and voice over artist. I received voice and diction training from a master voice over artist with 30 years of experience in the profession. I've been working in the media sector for 10 years, providing voice overs for various corporate and artistic projects. During this time, I've written and voiced radio theater productions. I've worked on corporate commercials for radio, television, and digital platforms, product presentations, announcements, audiobooks, radio theater, poetry readings, and more. I was born in 1979 in Sintra, near Lisbon, Portugal. Since I was young, I have been interested in the world of audio. As a child, I used to simulate radio broadcasts on my parents' old cassette recorder. I ended up taking a degree in Media and several professional courses in radio and voice-over. In 2001 I started working on a radio and three years later I arrived at the leading radio station in Portugal, where I stayed for over 16 years. At the same time, in 2006 I started doing voice-overs for television and company videos on the internet. In 2017 I built my own studio and started collaborating with international partners. I'm currently a full-time voice-over artist. My tone of voice is deep but soft at the same time, and I am often requested for advertising, corporate and e-learning, despite having experience in other types of work.

I do voice-over work in Turkish and English for commercials, social media content, documentaries, and animation projects, and I also record radio jingles. I work as a post producer at an international post-production company, so I understand not only how a voice sounds, but how it works within an edit. I spent 5 years at Radyo Bilkent, producing live broadcasts, jingles, and original programs. During that time, I created shows like “Spoiler” (cinema), “Bi Rota” (travel), and “Demarkaj” (culture & arts) across YouTube, live radio, and podcast formats. I also worked at Bubble Works Media as a podcaster and audio content editor. I trained in diction with Mehpare Çelik, former chief announcer at TRT, and I also worked as a stage presenter during my time at Bilkent. I have a degree in Communication and Design from Bilkent University and a Master’s degree in Filmmaking from Eötvös Loránd University. My voice is generally natural and clean, but I can also adapt to more energetic or character-based styles when needed.
