Hello, I'm İrfan Emsen. I'm a graduate of Bilkent Üniversitesi's English-language Architecture program, but my passion for voice over took precedence and I've continued my career in this direction. My voice over career began in 2019 when I volunteered for an audiobook project for the visually impaired, and continued with narrating books for my own YouTube channel and other channels. I've also voiced books and stories at the request of several esteemed authors. In addition to these, I work from my home recording studio doing commercials, promotional content, and character voice overs. I've been working as a professional voiceover artist for around two years, focusing mainly on narration and commercials. I recently also voiced the role of narrator for a popular visitor attraction in the South West of England, the museum ship the SS Great Britain. When I'm not recording in my booth, I work as a freelance newsreader and journalist for the BBC in Bristol, where I live. I'm a woman who loves life, views sports as an integral part of living, and enjoys collecting pleasant memories. Before the pandemic, I took theater training, but just as our play was about to be staged, pandemic restrictions began and we were confined to our homes. Our enthusiasm for acting and stage experience ended before it could truly begin. Right during that period, I started taking online voice-over classes with my instructors Uğur Taşdemir and Tolga Tibet. He produced and hosted radio and TV programs, and worked as a news anchor. He served as Press and Public Relations Director for private institutions, and undertook program production and hosting roles for national and local channels. He held positions including General Broadcasting Director, General Coordinator, News Coordinator, and General Manager at local radio and TV stations and agencies. A professional stage host and corporate press consultant, Murat Barık provides voice-over work for commercials and promotional films for both government and private institutions. He continues his voice-over work and currently produces programs on social media.
