The theaters I have performed with include Çiğdem Tunç Tiyatrosu, DasDas İstanbul (Mert Fırat), Tiyatro P.A.S (Sevtap Çapan), and Hayal Çocuk Tiyatrosu. I received training in diction and effective speech at Başkent İletişim Bilimleri Akademisi from Nermin Tuğuşlu and Cihangir Göker, who were TRT announcers at the time, from theater and voice artist Rüştü Asyalı, from Hacettepe Devlet Konservatuvarı faculty members Eray Eserol and Sinan Pekinton, and from voice artist Işın Feyman. I hosted programs on TRT Müzik channel. I served as a news anchor on several local channels. I also provided voice-over work for various industry channels and the IGN Türkiye YouTube channel for a period of time.

I was born in 1980 in Karamürsel. When I started at the microphone in 1992, I was only 12 years old. After doing children's programs on radio for years, as I grew older, naturally the program content matured as well. In 1996, I began working as Production Manager, and in 1998 as Music Director. In 1987, she took on the role of Connie Kendall in the world-wide radio show "Adventures in Odyssey," a role she has continued ever since. In 2015, Katie took on her first voice directing job with the award winning radio play "Rex Tanner and the Sword of Damocles." She has directed several cartoon series and film trailers since. She has an extensive background in ADR, which includes supplying the voice for the Maharaja in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom." Katie is best known for her fantastic children, teen and character voices (but she can sound like a grown-up, too!). A frequent guest on nostalgic podcasts, convention guest and public speaker.
