My name is David Hörning, and I am a freelance actor and voice-over artist. I was born in Hanover in 1993. After graduating from the University of Music and Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig, I worked as a member of the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam for 3 years. I then decided to pursue a freelance career and now work full-time as a voice-over artist in dubbing, radio drama, advertising, and voice-over projects. As a voice-over artist, I collaborate with several studios in Hamburg, Potsdam, and Berlin. Since I have a home studio, I am also able to work remotely :)

With over 18 years of public speaking experience as a US Navy Sailor and Naval Instructor, I have mastered the art of capturing an audience's attention and keeping it. I perform all my recordings in my professionally sound treated home studio near Los Angeles, CA equipped with my Lewitt LCT 540 S large diaphragm condenser microphone and Solid State Logic SSL-2 audio interface.

Following my degree in Shipping & Maritime economics, I received my vocal performance diploma with distinction and first prize award from the National Conservatory of Athens. My projects include among others: Frozen II 2019 (Anna), Mary Poppins Returns 2018 (Mary Poppins), Frozen Fever 2015 (Anna), Frozen 2013 (Anna), Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return 2013 (China Princess), Muppet Babies (Miss Piggy), Disney Princess Enchanted Tales 2007 (Sleeping Beauty), commercials, text-to-speech, e-learning, audiobooks, IVR and more. Since 2011 I have been Mattel's official singing voice of Barbie in Greece. I am best known for my interpretation as Anna (voice & singing voice) in the Greek dubbed version of Disney's biggest success Frozen. In the text-to-speech sector, I am best known for being Google's official voice in Greece (Google Assistant).

I have been working in this market for more than a decade as a professional voice actor, narrator, announcer, and more for TV channels, radio stations, websites, and social media networks in both Persian and English languages. I am particularly recognized as a renowned senior voice artist in the Persian market. I have also worked extensively in advertising, from TV and radio commercials to network campaigns.
