Deniz Koloğlu was born in Ankara in 1978 and grew up in Istanbul. After high school, she studied journalism for one year at Akademi İstanbul and graduated from Istanbul University's Department of French Language and Literature. She began her radio career in 2001 at Radyo Kozmos 92.3 and continued working in production, programming, management, and radio-music broadcasting at Açık Radyo and Radyo Babylon. Cazır Cazır, which started in 2001 at the booth of Karga Bar, continued as a radio program on Açık Radyo from 2004 to 2016. In 2008, she briefly worked as a copywriter at Works. With Utkan Çınar, she founded the group "utkan la deniz" in 2010, and for five years they created and performed their own music. In 2014, the radio program she produced with Hasan Ersel and Ali Pınar for the centennial of Cemal Reşit Rey's birth (Açık Radyo, 2004) was published as a book (Pan Yayıncılık). In 2015, the book Polis Destan Yazdı, Gezi'den Şiddet Tanıklıkları, which she prepared with Didem Gençtürk, Gözde Kazaz, İlksen Mavituna, and Saner Şen, was published (İletişim Yayınları, 2015). In spring 2016, she took an indefinite break from radio and music presentation. Her professional work with audio content gained a new dimension in 2017 when she joined the Yodiviki audio content platform. In January 2020, she returned to Açık Radyo, this time as event coordinator and audio archive editor, but her role ended prematurely due to covid-19. She occasionally does voice-over work. Her interviews are published in various media, sometimes in written form and sometimes in audio. Alongside these pursuits, she is interested in photography.

I was born in Taranto on the 18th of January 1989 and everything started when I was 8 and my older sister Annapaola asked me: "what would you like to do when you grow up?" My answer was: "a voiceover actor". Well, to be fair I wanted to become a football player as well, but let's say I was better with my voice than my feet. My education path led me towards a BA in Communication Sciences at University of Bari (Italy) achieved with a 1st Grade in 2013, which helped me to develop my skills for my profession. Before that, I attended the college IISS E. Majorana where I obtained a qualification as a technician in electronics and telecommunications. The very next year, I attended professional courses at Radiospeaker and at the Accademia Radio Televisiva, both situated in Rome, and both of them gave me the right tools to start my career in this business. I learned: Italian language diction rules in order to speak a more proficient Italian without any kind of accent how to breathe properly knowing the importance of pauses in every kind of speech how to apply a specific mood to my voice in order to meet customers' requests. Among the voiceover projects that quickly started to pile up, I began working at the local radio station of my city, Bluradio, and at Video M Italia, a local TV station, where I put into practice what I had learned so far. Then, the big call. In 2014, one of the top Italian national TV networks, Sportitalia, hired me as a sports journalist linking my passion for sports and my ability to communicate. In 2015, well aware of my potential, I decided to move to the United Kingdom, setting the city of Birmingham as my new home where I own my recording studio from which my productions are now used and broadcasted all around the world. Prodüksiyon Şirketin de Yabancı dil Cast Direktörlüğü, Yönetmenlik, Dublaj sanatçılığı yapmıştır. Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi Şehir Tiyatrosu'nda oyuncu olarak görev almıştır.

I studied acting and music, started since 30 years to work as voice actress for radio series, plus dubbing for cartoons and drama, in addition to acting and singing in choirs. I didn't stop even when I had my 2 children. Now I do all kinds of voiceovers (podcasts, E-learning, documentaries, audiobooks, games, advertisements, plus cartoon and drama of course). I rewrite and sing songs in Arabic for dubbed programs. I'm also a drama coach and trainer. I record at home and in studios in Beirut.
