My name is David Hörning, and I am a freelance actor and voice-over artist. I was born in Hanover in 1993. After graduating from the University of Music and Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig, I worked as a member of the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam for 3 years. I then decided to pursue a freelance career and now work full-time as a voice-over artist in dubbing, radio drama, advertising, and voice-over projects. As a voice-over artist, I collaborate with several studios in Hamburg, Potsdam, and Berlin. Since I have a home studio, I am also able to work remotely :)

I am 54 years old. Since 1985, I have been immersed in cinema, theater, and music. My bass-baritone voice is particularly preferred for emotionally charged texts.

Since 1992, I have worked as a radio and TV host while also doing voice-over work. I currently provide voice-over services across many areas, from radio and TV commercials to corporate presentations, from IVR systems to social media video voice-overs, and book and documentary narrations.

I am vocalist and vocal coach by trade and as such have great control over my voice for voiceover work. I am versatile within the English language and dialects and enjoy my time in front of a microphone. I have a home studio which is acoustically treated where I record my vocals using a Rode K2 condenser mic and scarlet focusrite sound card.
