The VoiceBros Online Voice Recorder is a free recorder that runs in your browser. It records 48 kHz, 24-bit mono WAV and turns off the browser's automatic noise suppression and gain control, so your voice is captured as it is. Recording, editing and noise removal all happen on your own computer; the audio is never uploaded to a server.

How it works
- Click “Allow microphone access” and pick your microphone. Paste the script you'll read into the panel on the right.
- Press Record (or the space bar). Take a few takes and star the best one.
- Listen & edit: select the bad parts and delete them, trim the silence at the start and end.
- Effects: optionally remove noise and make it broadcast-ready, then download the WAV.
Tips for a better recording
- Keep about a hand's width (15–20 cm) between your mouth and the mic; speak slightly off-axis to avoid plosives.
- While speaking, peaks on the level meter should sit between -12 and -6 dB and never hit red (0 dB).
- Record in a room with soft surfaces — carpet, curtains, a closet — and avoid empty, echoey rooms.
- Use a wired or USB microphone instead of a Bluetooth headset mic.
- To hear yourself in headphones, use your interface's “direct monitor”; monitoring through the browser has latency.

What format is the download?
Uncompressed WAV: 24-bit, mono, at your microphone's sample rate (usually 48 kHz) — the standard format for voice-over and podcast work.
Does AI noise removal change my voice?
No, it doesn't resynthesize your voice; it only filters background noise. There are Light, Medium and Strong settings. The model (about 10 MB) downloads on first use and runs on your computer.
Does it work on a phone?
Recording and downloading work in modern mobile browsers, but the editor is designed for desktop. For best results use Chrome or Edge on a computer.
Which loudness target should I choose?
-14 LUFS for social and web video, -16 LUFS for podcasts, -23 LUFS for TV (EBU R128), and the ACX setting (-20 dB RMS, -3 dB peak) for audiobooks.
